- A great way to get your stainless steel sink to look brand new. After cleaning and drying the sink, put some baby oil on some kitchen paper and coat the entire surface of the sink. It will look brand new! Once it is used again, the baby oil will vanish and your sink will look the way it did before; but it is great if you're having company and want a shiny sink.
- Clean copper or copper bottomed pans with a squeezed lemon half dipped in salt. It removes the dirt and revives the lovely copper patina.
